In September 2017, we were delighted to find out that we were awarded an Arts Council England grant for our year-long project to enthuse and infuse Medway with words, all linked to Confluence.

As part of our Confluence: Plant; Grow; Nurture project , we have run monthly 

workshops and open sessions in zine/pamphlet making (the photo shows examples of what we've made), creative writing workshops in Medway libraries and writing for wellbeing with IMHP, numerous open mics around Medway and Kent, and run a Writer Development Programme for 6 writers.

 

We have also changed the format of Confluence to reflect its more national and international focus, and are making a new website. Follow us on social media to hear updates about the project.

Our finale event is a showcase and open mic on 1 September at Gillingham Library, from 1-3pm.
